For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
Psalm 139:14-14
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,
as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
I Peter 4:10
KVC Family,
God has created each of us uniquely, wonderfully and purposefully! One of the 7 Essentials of a healthy small group is to…
-Discover, Develop & Deploy God-Given Gifts
In order to do this we want to better understand ourselves and each other. So here is our plan.
Before our next small group…
- Fill out one or both of the personality tests we’ve provided, Jung/Briggs-Meyers & Enneagram, both available in the app (for free).
- Spend time prayerfully reflecting on the Thought Questions & Scriptures to prepare for a group discussion at our next meeting.
Thought Questions:
-Did anything surprise you about your assessments?
-In what ways does your personality type bear the image of God?
-What are some of the influences that led to you being who you are?
-Why do you think God created you the way you are?
Now read the descriptions of different spiritual gifts in Romans 12:6–8, I Peter 4:10-11, Ephesians 4:11
-Do any of these spiritual gifts feel like they fit your personality? Which ones?
-How do you think your personality type equips you to best serve in the church? In small group?
